On July 28, a cool Baijiu cocktail competition kicked off in Singapore. The 2nd Baijiu Cocktail Competition, jointly organized by the Singapore Chinese Baijiu Association and Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, was a great success, and the charm of Chinese Baijiu cocktails “mix and match” once again wowed the Lion City!

To ensure the competition’s professional standard, well-known baijiu experts Singapore Chinese Baijiu Association, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd chairman Yun Wei Long, Association of Bartenders & Sommeliers Singapore chairman Steven Cheng, well-known bartender Lsz Valentino were specially invited as judges, with many guests to witness the unique taste of baijiu cocktails!

The bartenders dazzled the audience by replacing the traditional cocktail base wine with China’s top three high-quality baijiu Moutai, Wuliangye, and Guojiao1573, as well as brainstorming ingredients of various colors to create a variety of novel baijiucocktails, providing a visual and taste feast for the judges and guests.

The contestants demonstrated their abilities by presenting a variety of exquisite, brightly colored, and richly flavored baijiu cocktails, which were praised by the judges and guests, demonstrating once again the great potential of Chinese baijiu in cocktail making.
The competition also included first, second, third, and consolation prizes for best performance to encourage bartenders to continue promoting Chinese baijiu.

The 2nd Baijiu Cocktail Competition was a huge success! From the preliminaries to the finals, the competition drew a lot of responses from bartenders who love ready-made cocktails and Chinese baijiu, making it the most influential baijiu cocktail competition in Singapore so far.
The competition also served as inspiration for aspiring bartenders, and it was yet another wonderful display of Chinese baijiu on the international stage.
