
The 3rd “Moutai Cup” Black and White Wisdom Go Competition
The third “Moutai Cup” Black and White Wisdom Go Competition kicked off on November 15 in Singapore, bringing together two outstanding representatives of Chinese culture, Go and Moutai. Singapore’s top chess players gathered here to embark on a journey of blending Go and Baijiu cultures.


The Singapore Chinese Baijiu Association and Moutai distributor-Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd organized the event, which was co-organized by the Singapore Weiqi Association, and it drew a lot of attention from Chinese culture enthusiasts and Moutai fans in Singapore. Yun Weilong, President of the Singapore Chinese Baijiu Association and Chairman of Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd, Chen Dingchuan, President of the Singapore Weiqi Association, and Yang Jinhua, Chief Coach and Judge of the tournament, were all present to exchange Weiqi skills with the participants and witness the promotion of Chinese culture and national Baijiu brand in Singapore.

After hours of fierce competition, the top four competitors stood out. Among them, the champion of the 2018 and 2019 “Moutai Cup” Go Competition-Singapore 6-dan player Ke Jiehui won the championship for the third time in a row.

Both Go and Chinese Baijiu have long represented traditional Chinese culture. The successful holding of the “Moutai Cup” Wisdom Go Tournament not only facilitated a journey of spreading Go culture, but also perfectly presented to local friends and Chinese culture enthusiasts the deep concept of “Cultural Moutai, Chinese National Essence.” In the future, Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd will work more closely with the Singapore Weiqi Association to spread Chinese traditional culture.
